Last updated 13 August 2026 · Applies to the 2048 vs Bomb mobile game (com.bombmerge2048.app)
2048 vs Bomb needs no account and no sign-in to play. We never ask for your name, email address, phone number or location, and we cannot identify you personally. Your game progress is stored on your own device, not on our servers.
Three things do involve other companies, and each is explained in full below: the game sends anonymous statistics about how games are played, it shows ads, and two features are optional and off unless you choose them — signing in to Google Play Games for the leaderboard, and the one in-app purchase.
2048 vs Bomb is published by an independent developer. For any privacy question, or to make a request about your data, contact anubhav.g.9948@gmail.com. We aim to reply within 30 days.
2048 vs Bomb does not collect personal information directly. It does use third-party services that collect technical and usage information, listed here in full:
| What | Why | Who handles it | Optional? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Gameplay events — a game started or ended, the highest number reached, the score, and which tools were used | To find out where the difficulty is wrong and fix it | GameAnalytics | Yes — turn off "Anonymous analytics" in the game's Settings |
| Device model, operating system version, app version, language and country | To know which devices and screen sizes to support and test | GameAnalytics | Yes — same setting |
| A random identifier created when the app is installed | To count returning players without knowing who they are. It is not linked to you, your device's permanent ID, or any account, and reinstalling the app creates a new one | GameAnalytics | Yes — same setting |
| Advertising identifier, IP address and general device information | To show ads, limit how often the same ad repeats, and measure whether ads worked | Google AdMob, and the ad networks it works with on our behalf (mediation partners) | No, while ads are shown — but see "Ads" below |
| Your Google Play Games player ID and display name, and the scores you submit | To place you on the leaderboard against other players | Google Play Games Services | Yes. Nothing is sent unless you sign in, and the game is fully playable without ever doing so |
| That a purchase was made, and that this device owns it | To remove ads for someone who paid, and to give it back after a reinstall | Google Play Billing | Yes. Only if you buy. We never see or receive your card details — payment is handled entirely by Google Play |
Your saved games, best numbers, scores, tools, daily streak and settings are stored on your device only. They are not uploaded anywhere. Uninstalling the app deletes them permanently — we cannot restore them for you. The one exception is a score you chose to submit to the leaderboard, which is held by Google Play Games under your own Google account.
2048 vs Bomb is free and funded by advertising. It shows an ad when the app opens on some launches, a short ad between games, and optional ads you choose to watch in exchange for a named reward such as a tool or a second chance. It never shows an ad in the middle of a game, and never two ads within six minutes.
Ad providers may use your device's advertising identifier to select ads. You can reset or delete that identifier at any time in your device settings (on Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads), which stops ads being tailored to past activity.
Ads are delivered by Google AdMob. AdMob also fills some ad slots through mediation, meaning other advertising networks may compete to show you an ad. Those partners receive the same limited technical information described above and are bound by their own privacy policies. The full, current list of networks Google may use is published in Google's list of advertising partners.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you are asked to choose your ad preferences the first time you open the game. You can change that choice at any time from Settings → Ad privacy options inside the game.
The game offers one purchase, Remove Ads, which stops the ads we show you without your asking. Optional rewarded ads remain available afterwards if you still want to watch one, because the purchase removes interruptions, not opportunities.
The leaderboard uses Google Play Games Services. Signing in is entirely optional, is never required to play, and is never asked for during a game. If you do sign in, Google shares your Play Games player ID and display name with the game, and the scores you submit become visible to other players on the leaderboard. If you do not sign in, your records stay on your device and the game shows them to you locally instead. You can disconnect the game at any time from the Google Play Games app.
2048 vs Bomb is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information through the game, contact us and we will delete it.
Depending on where you live — including under the EU/UK GDPR and India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 — you may have the right to access, correct, or delete information held about you, and to object to certain processing.
Because the game does not know who you are, the practical routes are:
Anonymous gameplay statistics are retained by our analytics provider for as long as they are useful for improving the game, and are only ever reported to us in aggregate. Leaderboard scores are held by Google Play Games for as long as the leaderboard exists.
Our providers process data on servers outside your country, including in the European Union and the United States. They are contractually required to protect it and to use it only to provide their service.
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will also be noted in the app's store listing.
